Fahima Kashani is a respected leader in finance, real estate, and community development, with over three decades of professional experience and a lifelong commitment to service. Her career began in the banking industry, where she spent more than 14 years in senior and leadership roles at CIBC, HSBC, and BMO (1989–2003), building a strong foundation in financial services, client advisory, and management.
A licensed mortgage and real estate broker, Fahima is the Principal Broker and Owner of Kbanx Mortgage Ltd., a family-run brokerage she has successfully led since 2006. Under her leadership, the firm has grown with a reputation for integrity, professionalism, and client-focused solutions.
Beyond her professional achievements, Fahima is deeply committed to giving back to the community. Over the years, she has dedicated her time and efforts to supporting orphaned and foster children, assisting women receiving family benefits, and providing counselling support to youth and parents. Her community involvement also includes serving as President of the Bayview Secondary School Parent Council, as well as Co-Founder and Co-President of the Canadian Iranian Mortgage Association (CIMA) from 2006 to 2009.
Since 2009, Fahima has proudly served as a one of the Founders and the current President of the Professional Iranian Canadian Realtors Association (PICRA). She played a pivotal role in establishing the organization with the vision of uniting, empowering, and educating Iranian real estate professionals across Canada. Under her leadership, PICRA promotes collaboration, professional growth, and industry awareness, helping members strengthen their businesses and expand their networks.
Fahima is also an active volunteer with RECO (Real Estate Council of Ontario) and TRREB (Toronto Regional Real Estate Board), where she contributes her knowledge and experience to support ethical standards and professional excellence within the real estate industry.
While her career and community service are central to her life, Fahima considers her greatest accomplishment to be raising three wonderful children, now successful and thriving adults. She also devotes her time and care to her father, who courageously battled stage 4 cancer and is now cancer-free—a journey that reflects her belief in faith, resilience, and the strength of family.
Fahima humbly acknowledges that her achievements would not have been possible without the unwavering love and support of her husband—her partner and best friend for nearly 35 years—whose encouragement has been a cornerstone of her success.
For Fahima, PICRA is more than an organization; it is her passion, her vision, and her legacy. She remains deeply committed to its continued growth, with the goal of building one of the strongest and most inspiring Iranian professional communities in Canada.
Driven by a long-standing fascination with Dubai’s dynamic real estate market, Fahima further expanded her expertise by obtaining her real estate license in Dubai. She now assists individuals and families considering relocation or investment opportunities, guiding them toward informed decisions as future homeowners and landlords. Through her dedication and leadership, she advanced into a Sales Director role, where she leads her team and supports Canadian realtors in expanding their careers and opportunities across both the Canadian and Dubai real estate markets.
